■Product Description
The Merkava Mk.4 is the latest version of the Merkava series and the main battle tank of the Israel Defense Forces.
Deployment into combat began in 2004, and a total of 400 tanks are expected to be deployed at a pace of 50-70 tanks per year.
Changes from the previous version include a larger turret, the adoption of an external modular armor system, and the fact that various parts of the hull now act as additional armor to protect the crew, creating a structure that prevents penetration of the main armor as much as possible.
