The final improved version of the Leopard 1 has arrived

From 2000, modifications to the Leopard C2 began.

Only the turret was taken from the Leopard 1A5 purchased from the German Ministry of Defense and combined with the C1 chassis, and a new thermal detection system and EMES18 fire control system were installed.

In 2006, the modified C2 vehicle, equipped with Mexus armor, was deployed to security support forces in Afghanistan.

Invented in the 1990s, Mexus armor is an advanced armor system that uses various types of composite armor panels to withstand the explosion of armor-piercing rounds.

Furthermore, different levels of protection are available, including mine-proof kits.

The MENG TS-041 Canadian Main Battle Tank Leopard C2 Mexus & Dozer Blade assembly model kit has a finished length of 270.2mm, a height of 86.5mm, and a total of 500 parts.

The kit includes movable suspension, one-piece TPE tracks, and photo-etched parts.

Lights and periscopes are reproduced with clear parts.

The dozer blade can be raised and lowered, and the details of the hull covered with additional armor are faithfully reproduced.

Anthony Seward is a Canadian military expert and a collaborating partner on the Leopard C2 Mexus & Dozer Blade project, providing extensive documentation and supervision throughout the development process.

He served in the Canadian military for over 26 years.

His unit was Lord Strathconus Horse (Royal Canadian).

Anthony was deployed to the Middle East and Bosnia seven times and commanded Leopard tank regiments multiple times during the Afghan War.

After retiring, he published a photo book of Canadian Leopards and produced a DVD of the current Leopard tank.

He also advises several model manufacturers.

Thanks to him, MENG's Leopards can be more accurate and better made.
