■Product Description
The much-talked-about new manufacturer, Kajika, has finally released an injection kit of the Kongo early model (waterline model)!
The Kongo was initially planned as an armored cruiser in 1907, but in light of the global shipbuilding situation, the construction plan was changed to a super-dreadnought battlecruiser.
At the time, the Japanese Navy had much to learn from Europe and America in terms of construction concepts and technology, so the Japanese Navy formulated the basic plan and commissioned Vickers of Britain to design and build it.
Launched in 1912, completed in August of the following year, the voyage to Yokosuka was carried out by the Japanese Navy, and through the Kongo, the world's largest and most powerful battleship at the time, the Japanese Navy made a leap forward in both combat power and technological capabilities.
Vickers' cooperation with the Japanese Navy was a great help in the subsequent construction of three more ships of the same type.
The Kongo was the last large capital ship that the Japanese Navy ordered from a foreign country, and it is also noteworthy in the history of shipbuilding.
