■Product Description
The Heavy High Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT) is a series of 8-wheel diesel-engine off-road trucks operated by the United States military. Compared to a standard 5-ton truck, this Heavy High Mobility Truck boasts extremely high mobility thanks to its 8-wheel all-wheel drive, wide low-pressure tires, and supercharged engine. The M983 tractor is primarily used to tow MIM-104 Patriot surface-to-air missiles and MGM-31 Pershing medium-range ballistic missiles. It is also used in conjunction with a semi-trailer to transport construction equipment and materials. The Pershing II is a two-stage solid-fuel medium-range ballistic missile designed and manufactured to replace the Pershing Ia missile as a weapon capable of carrying nuclear warheads for the United States Army's main theaters of operations.
