■Product Description
The Italian Navy's Bergamini-class frigates are stealth ships jointly developed with France. This ship is the lead vessel and was built as a general-purpose type under the FREMM (Multi-Task Frigate Program). It entered service in 2011. Its armament consists of one 127mm gun, one 76mm gun, two 25mm autocannons for air defense missiles and anti-aircraft/anti-surface use, and two torpedo launchers housed in the superstructure. As the Carlo Bergamini is a general-purpose type, it is not equipped with anti-submarine missiles, but the gun at the bow is an anti-submarine type 76mm to 126mm single rapid-fire gun.
