Based on "Mikaeri Bijin Miku," which was created as part of the "Dancing Haniwa & Mikaeri Bijin Repair Project" *1 conducted by the National Institutes for Cultural Heritage, Tokyo National Museum and the Cultural Properties Utilization Center, a collaboration between Japanese doll manufacturer "Kyugetsu" *2 and figure manufacturer Good Smile Company has been realized!
The kimono part uses actual textiles and embroidery, achieving a different texture from figures. It is made by hand by Kyugetsu's doll craftsmen. The head and hands are reproduced in figure form to express the delicate touch drawn by Rella. Please enjoy this dream collaboration between traditional crafts and modern culture that has made unprecedented expression possible!
