F-20 details realized through 3D modeling and 3D printing
The cockpit of the F-20 appears to have differed for each of the three actual aircraft and for each aircraft in operation. This kit is based on the third aircraft, and models the instrument panel, side console, ejection seat, measuring instruments behind the seat, and canopy opening and closing mechanism.
The ejection seat and canopy opening and closing mechanism have many fine details, so they are molded as one piece. The anti-glare shield, instrument panel, control stick, and side console are separate parts to facilitate painting. The HUD is a clear part.
The frame holder, afterburner pipe, and nozzle vanes of the F404-GE-100 installed in the F-20 are included as parts. *The afterburner pipe is a part that matches the proportions of the actual aircraft, but it is necessary to trim the inside of the kit. Therefore, we have also prepared an afterburner pipe that has been adjusted to a size that does not require any modification of the kit.
A center pylon integrated with a sharp-tipped 150 Gal. tank is included.
