■Product Description
We are pleased to announce a new product from LF Models of the Czech Republic: the 1/72 Cierva C.30 Autogyro injection kit. The kit includes injection-molded parts from RS Models and original decals from LF Models.
The autogyro, developed immediately after World War I, generated lift with rotor blades, but was controlled using elevators and ailerons, just like a fixed-wing aircraft. The C.30, which made its first flight in 1933, adopted a method of control by tilting the rotor's plane of rotation, and therefore did not have fixed wings, giving it performance similar to today's helicopters.
