■Product Description
We are pleased to announce the new 1/48 BM-8-24 Self-Propelled Multiple Rocket Launcher from GMU Models of Ukraine. The BM-8-24 was a vehicle used by the Soviet army during World War II, based on the T-60 light tank, with a launcher for 24 BM-8 Φ82mm rockets instead of a turret, and was widely used in the war against Germany. The structure of the launcher was very simple, consisting of a launcher made of parallel iron rails arranged in a fence-like shape to hold solid-fuel rockets, and a support frame to support it and adjust the direction and firing angle. The rockets were unguided and did not have sights, so the firing angle was calculated from the weight and range of the rockets used, and they were fired in an approximate direction. As a result, accuracy could not be expected, so this drawback was compensated for by firing a large number of rockets in a concentrated manner. The product we are introducing this time is an injection-molded T-60 hull with photo-etched parts, 3D-printed tracks, and newly 3D-printed rockets and launcher. Please consider this opportunity.
