Introducing the completely new 1/72 WW.II British BL 4.5-inch Mk.2 Medium Gun from Ukraine's Ace. The BL 4.5-inch medium gun was a medium-range gun used by the British Army from the early stages of World War II. Developed as a successor to the BL 60-pounder gun, the gun barrel was newly designed, but the Mk.1 reused the gun carriage and recoil mechanism from the BL 60-pounder gun. The Mk.2 increased the horizontal firing angle by changing the gun carriage to that of the BL 5.5-inch gun. Although the BL 4.5-inch medium gun had a longer range than the 5.5-inch gun, its smaller caliber meant it had less destructive power against hardened targets, so it was used for training shortly after the end of the war and was retired in 1959. The kit allows you to choose between firing or moving configuration during assembly.
