Animal sculptor Shinobu Matsumura approached Neronga from the perspective of a living creature.
She created the figure after thoroughly considering what shape it would take if it existed in real life, how it would move, and what presence it would exude.
The detailed sculpt, from the unevenness and detail of the back and skin, to the depiction of the belly and tail that seem to be expanding from within the body, to the claws and soles of the feet, is a must-see.
