About the actual aircraft
The MiG-21 is a masterpiece Soviet fighter jet that has been in operation since 1959, with various types being produced, and remains in active service even into the 2000s. The design was handled by the Mikoyan Gregovich Design Bureau, and the prototype made its first flight in 1955. It was officially given the name MiG-21 in 1956. The first mass-produced model was called the MiG-21F, and improved types appeared thereafter. Among them, the MiG-21bis can be said to be the perfected version of the MiG-21. The MiG-21bis made its first flight in 1971. It was equipped with one Tumansky R-25-300 turbojet engine. It achieved a top speed of 2175 km/h. It was equipped with one 23mm GSh-23L cannon as fixed armament. The aircraft had four hardpoints and could carry up to 1300 kg of armament. It was widely deployed and operated not only in the Soviet Union but also in other communist countries.

The stickers are cut to match the shape of the canopy frame, so you just peel them off the backing and apply them to the respective parts. The aircraft parts are made by Eduard. The hump from the rear of the cockpit to the vertical stabilizer is reproduced with separate parts, accurately representing the shape of the aircraft. Furthermore, the attention to detail is remarkable, from the cockpit and landing gear to the landing gear bays. The canopy can be assembled in either the open or closed position. The markings are based on an aircraft owned by MiG and used for various tests and exhibitions.
