About the actual vehicle
The Profia is a series of heavy-duty trucks manufactured and sold by Hino Motors, a leading Japanese truck manufacturer. The Profia name was adopted with the model change in 2003, and a full model change was implemented in 2017 for the first time in 14 years. The semi-tractor series also underwent a full model change the following year, 2018. In addition to a complete redesign of the exterior and interior, the chassis was also revamped to improve basic performance. Furthermore, the engine was downsized to a 9-liter 9L engine.
