【About the actual aircraft】
The MiG-29, a fighter jet developed during the Soviet era, was developed to counter the new fighter jets such as the F-14 and F-15 that the United States began developing and deploying in the 1970s. The prototype made its first flight in 1977. It was officially adopted in 1983 and entered service the following year, 1984. It is equipped with two Klimov RD-33 turbofan engines. It can reach a top speed of Mach 2.25. In addition to being equipped with one 30mm cannon as fixed armament, it can carry short-range air-to-air missiles such as the R-60 Apade and AA-11 Archer, as well as AA-10 Alamo medium-range air-to-air missiles and Apex missiles. The MiG-29 was subsequently improved and continued to evolve, remaining a mainstay in service, and various types were produced. Among them, the 9.13 model, the Fulcrum C, entered service in 1986 as an improved version of the early production model.

This is a 1/72 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the MiG-29 Fulcrum, a masterpiece fighter aircraft developed and operated by the Soviet Union. Among the many MiG-29s, this kit models the 9.13 model, the MiG-29 Fulcrum C. In addition, this kit also includes a metal pitot tube, which enhances the delicate expression of the finished product.
The unique style of the MiG-29, composed of curves, is accurately reproduced in a finished length of approximately 240mm. The panel lines are finely engraved, and the air intakes and jet nozzles are made of separate parts for a three-dimensional finish. In addition, the cockpit is also reproduced in detail, including the injection-molded seat and instrument panel. One pilot figure is also included, and the canopy can be assembled in either open or closed position. Furthermore, this set includes a metal machined part for the pitot tube that attaches to the nose. With its delicate finish and sufficient strength, this is a must-see.
