It's the real thing.
The OH-13 Su, a light helicopter that began development after World War II and was deployed by the U.S. Army in the late 1940s, featured a unique bubble canopy with a truss-frame tail boom and two side tanks. It was capable of reaching a top speed of 170 km/h. During the Korean War, numerous aircraft were used extensively for observation and reconnaissance, not only by the U.S. military, but also by the British, French, German, Indian and Japanese Self-Defense Forces.

The model is a 1/48 scale plastic model assembly kit that was developed after the war and used around the world to replicate helicopters and OH-13s. It modeled in detail the mechanisms of characteristic canopies and truss-frame tail booms and side tanks. The engine replicates cylinder cooling fins and exhaust pipes.
