This is a plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the American ground attack aircraft, A-10, in 1/48 scale.
About the actual aircraft
The A-10 Thunderbolt II is a ground attack aircraft used by the US military for close air support, which has been in operation since 1977. It is equipped with twin engines and is characterized by its straight wing style. A total of 11 hardpoints are provided on the underside of the wings and the fuselage, giving it the capability to carry 7,260 kg of bombs, rockets, missiles, etc. Furthermore, it is equipped with a GAU-8/A Avenger autocannon in the nose, achieving high offensive capabilities. Improvements have continued since its deployment, and the A-10C, which appeared from 2005, is a modified version of the A model with a glass cockpit. It participated in combat during the 1991 Gulf War, demonstrating its capabilities. It has also been deployed to units in Europe, and aircraft with camouflage called European One, tailored to the region, are in operation.

The finished length is 338mm and the distinctive form with straight wings and two engines on its back is reproduced with great power. Not only the shape of the aircraft, but also the panel lines are realistically expressed. Some inspection panels can be assembled in open or closed positions.
The kit also includes masking sheets for convenient painting of the canopy frame. The markings are selected from aircraft of the 706th Tactical Fighter Squadron (706TFS), a subordinate of the 926th Tactical Fighter Squadron (926TFS), which were painted in the European One camouflage scheme, consisting of two shades of green and one shade of gray, which was adopted in 1978. This kit is not to be missed, as it features a camouflage scheme that is different from the early gray paint scheme and is inspired by European forests.
