About the real car.
The WRC machine developed by Opel in 1980 was the Opel Ascona 400. The engine is equipped with a straight four cylinder DOHC 16 valve head. It produces 240 horsepower with an exhaust volume of 2410 cc. The drive used a common front engine rear drive mode. The body was fitted with a fin on the front windscreen, a thruster spoiler, and a bonnet, and was homologated as a Group 4 specification.
