This is a 1/72 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the Global Hawk, an unmanned reconnaissance aircraft developed by the United States.
【About the actual aircraft】
The RQ-4B Global Hawk is an unmanned reconnaissance aircraft (UAV) developed by the United States that began operation in 2006. The uniquely shaped nose houses a satellite communication antenna, and the aircraft is equipped with electro-optical/infrared sensors, synthetic aperture radar, etc. It is equipped with one turbofan engine and has the capability to autonomously navigate at high altitudes for long periods of time, boasting a flight time of approximately 36 hours and a maximum altitude of approximately 60,000 feet. It is currently in operation by the US Air Force and Navy, as well as by NATO, Germany, South Korea, and Japan. In the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, three RQ-4Bs are deployed to the Provisional Reconnaissance Air Squadron at Misawa Air Base.
