■Product Description
This model is a plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the commemorative painted aircraft "42-8947" of the 304th Squadron, which celebrated its 40th anniversary in August 2017, based on Platz's 1/72 Japan Air Self-Defense Force F-15J Eagle, which has already garnered high praise from airplane model fans.
The markings of the commemorative painted aircraft, which performed a flight demonstration at the Churaumi Air Festa air show held in December, are expressed in detail with large decals.
The Tengu mark painted on the back of the fuselage and the right vertical stabilizer, and the blue F-15 mark on the left vertical stabilizer, make a strong impact.
The Tengu mark of the squadron is a familiar mark to Self-Defense Force fans, said to be designed after Buzenbo, a Tengu said to live on Mt. Hiko in Fukuoka Prefecture at the time of the squadron's establishment.
It fits snugly to the accurately reproduced shape of the aircraft.
The shape of the actual aircraft is modeled in detail in 1/72 scale.
The engine nozzles, reproduced with meticulous attention to detail and separate parts, are not to be missed.
Markings for the three 610-gallon tanks are also included.
This is a kit that we would like to add to the collection of any Self-Defense Forces fan.
