■Product Description
■The Renault YS is a command tank developed by the French Army to complement the command and communication capabilities of the AMR 33/AMR 35 series reconnaissance tanks.
Conceived in the early 1930s, only 10 units were produced, making it an extremely rare vehicle.
- Command and communications vehicle equipped with radio
- No turret, with a tall superstructure
- Crew typically 3-4 people
- Armor is about 9-13 mm thick (small arms protection only)
- Basically no armament (there are some examples of vehicles equipped with machine guns for self-defense, but these are limited)
● Mobility
Uses the same engine and suspension as the AMR 35,
- Maximum speed: about 50-55 km/h
- Range: about 150-200 km
