■The Berezina was a massive, versatile replenishment ship built by the Soviet Navy in 1977 to fully operate aircraft carrier strike groups. It was a rare "single-ship, self-contained, all-in-one replenishment ship" in the world. Its scale and functions are still noteworthy today, but due to its cost and complexity, no successor ship was built, and it remains in history as a unique vessel. It had the ability to replenish multiple ships simultaneously and had 48 warehouses and 27 storage compartments. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, it belonged to the Russian-Ukrainian Joint Fleet and was active in the Black Sea. It was then scrapped in 1996.
