The 510 Datsun Bluebird, which appeared in 1967, established the appeal of Japanese cars overseas as being inexpensive, high-performance, and easy to use. The 510, which combined advanced mechanisms such as an OHC engine, 4-wheel independent suspension (passenger car type), and a ventilation system that eliminated the triangular windows with unparalleled durability, was exported to countries all over the world and is still loved today as a famous Japanese car.
The 2-door sedan, which was available from the time of its debut, was made for business use and for families with small children so that the doors would not be accidentally opened. It is a relatively rare sight in Japan, but it was a popular main body type in exports to America.
TLV has been offering the 510 Bluebird sedan and van in 1/64 scale since 2009, but this time a new variation of the 2-door sedan has appeared after a long time. We're adding a 1970 1400 Standard and a 1969 North American specification DATSUN 510 (local name). Pay attention to the details that differ between the model years, such as the front grille and taillights.
Both body colors are selected from the original factory colors, with the 1400 Standard being a green.
Enjoy the clean and simple design of the 510, which gives off a Supersonic Line feel.
