The 60 series Land Cruiser, which appeared in 1980 as the successor to the previous FJ56 series, was a model that aimed to be a full-fledged station wagon that was a cut above the traditional Land Cruiser image. While maintaining the tradition of the Land Cruiser with its robust ladder frame structure, it had a body with passenger car-like integrated fenders and an interior that greatly improved comfort, which made it popular, and it was produced for a long period until 1990 with the addition of equipment that incorporated the trends of the time. It was also popular overseas and is still highly regarded internationally to this day.
The Land Cruiser 60 has been well-received in the TLV-NEO series, but this time a new specification appears for the early model which is characterized by its round headlights. It reproduces the patrol car that was deployed to the Hokkaido Prefectural Police as an initial response vehicle. Enjoy the details, including the red light on the roof, the small-diameter wheels on the rear double doors, and the filled-in side windows (reproduced with paint).
