The FJ56V Land Cruiser is a model based on the FJ55V, which appeared in 1967, replacing the long-body 40-series Land Cruiser that had been produced up until then. It was a four-wheel drive vehicle with a passenger car-like body, which was unprecedented among Japanese cars at the time, and was well received in overseas markets, including North America. In Japan, it was also widely adopted as an official vehicle and emergency vehicle. With its charming styling, it has many fans, and even now, more than half a century after its appearance, it remains a popular vehicle.

Since its production in 2011 as TLV's first four-wheel drive vehicle, various variations have been developed and it has been very well received, but this time a white and blue two-tone color reminiscent of the export specification is now available. It can also be enjoyed as a striking miniature car when combined with the "Kaiyodo x Tomica Limited Vintage GeoColle 64 #CarSnap 28a Safari 1" (sold separately, scheduled for release in July 2025).
