■Product Description
A modified model of the US military's prototype armed UGV "MAARS" robot, adapted for use at designated defense schools. The concept is a "self-propelled heavy machine gun." The large-caliber machine gun has powerful firepower capable of effectively hitting even large Ichthys, but it is extremely heavy, making it impossible for designated defense school students to carry freely. This "Caliber Carrier" fulfills the wish of defense school students that "it would be great if the heavy machine gun could move on its own..." With the addition of a targeting sensor, it is also possible to operate it for firing using only remote control.
In the future, autonomous combat using AI programs and support use through multi-platform development are being explored.
Maho Kushii, a designated defense school student who participated in the test operation, affectionately nicknamed it "Strolling Chopper-kun" because of how it trotted along following the gunner.
The kit includes the UGV body and a complete set of operating equipment.
The turret section has a movable structure and can rotate. The molded colors are reproduced using two different colors for the tracks and the main body.
