The 328 GTB appeared in 1985 as the successor to the previous 308 series. The basic style by Pininfarina is similar to the 308, but various parts have been refined, and the engine has also been enlarged to 3.2 liters based on the one for the 308. The traditional transverse mid-engine layout was last used in the 328, making it a very popular model even today.
