■Product Description
Adopted by the US military as a squad support weapon in 1982, the M249 has undergone upgrades based on combat experience since its adoption, transforming into a different form from the original "Minimi". The M249 used by the US military in the 2020s has been improved in the following ways: two barrel lengths (long and short), elimination of the gas regulator, adoption of a rail handguard and a correspondingly improved bipod, adoption of a scope, retractable stock, adoption of a 200-round cloth magazine, etc.
This Little Armory model reproduces the improved M249 in 1/12 scale (stock and barrel length are selectable between long and short).
