The prototype is created by Shinobu Matsumura, a leading expert in natural history and biological sculpting.
From the 1964 film "Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster," the scene of the mountainous region where King Ghidorah clashed with Godzilla, Mothra, and Rodan has been recreated as a motif. The posing, inspired by the promotional poster, has also been incorporated, and the majestic presence of King Ghidorah has been brought to life with a completely new sculpt.
Each of the three heads has a different expression, following the style of the film, while the size of the scales varies from part to part, enhancing the biological realism. By placing a bridge in the foreground and recreating the grounds of the shrine that appeared in the film, the overwhelming sense of scale of King Ghidorah is created.
