The beautiful yet eerie Evangelion Mass Production Unit is now available as a plastic model kit!
The gigantic wings are molded as a single piece!
From "Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion," the Evangelion Mass Production Unit joins the ARTPLA lineup.
This product, with its slender yet muscular body, slimy head, and gigantic wings on its deployed back, is beautiful and uses the original sculpt by Akira Tani (OZ Co., Ltd.).
The distinctive wings (470mm in width) are molded as a single piece, achieving both visual beauty and sturdy assembly.
With a simple parts configuration due to the fixed pose, it can be assembled in no time.
The use of pearl gray molded color gives this kit the appearance of a sculptural work just by assembling it.
Of course, you can further enjoy the kit by painting it and finish it as your own unique Evangelion Mass Production Unit.
The original resin kit was produced in 1997.
For the kit, all parts were 3D scanned and replaced with digital data.
In addition, the shape of the wing parts was finely adjusted from the original prototype. By adjusting the mounting angle and creating a wavy, undulating shape, the sculpture now looks different from all angles in 360 degrees.
Furthermore, the rubble on the base was enlarged and more detail was added to provide sturdy support for the top-heavy shape.
