■Product Description
A first in history! A plastic model kit of the mechanical god drawn by Yutaka Izubuchi
From the comic work "Rune Masker," by Yutaka Izubuchi, a creator who is active in a wide range of fields as an illustrator, mecha designer, and animation director, comes the mechanical god Rune Masker Sleipnir, the first ever plastic model kit!
"Rune Masker" started in 1988 as a completely original work developed through two forms of expression: three-dimensional and illustration, when Yutaka Izubuchi and Kaiyodo teamed up.
With today's perspective and technology, the mechanical god Rune Masker designed by Yutaka Izubuchi that appears in the work is now being released anew as a plastic model kit.
The prototype is being produced by Akira Tani, a leading figure in mecha modeling at Kaiyodo. The unique design drawn by Yutaka Izubuchi, which fuses mechanical elements with the biological characteristics of being half-human and half-horse, is sculpted in a large size with a sense of volume.
The exterior, composed of smooth curves, and organic parts such as the flowing mane and tail, are designed to be easy to assemble thanks to the clever parts division as a fixed model.
The kit also includes a base and a large spear as a weapon. Once completed, you can enjoy the sight of the mechanical god Runemasker standing on a rocky outcrop, exuding an awe-inspiring presence.
We hope you will enjoy Yutaka Izubuchi's supreme design, newly expressed in three dimensions.
