■Product Description
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was the German Air Force's first all-metal single-seat fighter, and it served as the main fighter aircraft from the Spanish Civil War to the end of World War II, undergoing continuous improvements. A massive number of over 33,000 aircraft were produced in total across all variants.
The F-4 variant was equipped with the new DB601E engine and the propeller shaft-mounted cannon was upgraded to 20mm, making it a perfected version of the F-series and producing many ace pilots.
This kit allows you to reproduce the state of the upper part of the nose with the engine exposed. Markings are included for an aircraft belonging to JG3, the aircraft flown by super ace Barkhorn, who had 1104 sorties and the second-highest number of kills in history (301), and the aircraft flown by Frank Riesendahl, an expert in attacking warships.
