■Product Description
The F-15DJ (two-seat version) is an aircraft introduced by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force for pilot familiarization training and conversion training of F-15J fighter jets (single-seat version). Initially, 12 aircraft were imported from the United States, but a total of 48 aircraft were introduced, including those produced domestically after knockdown production. Many of these are deployed to the 23rd Squadron, a training squadron that trains new Eagle drivers at Nyutabaru Air Base in Miyazaki Prefecture, but a few are also deployed to all other F-15 squadrons. Although it is often thought of as a training aircraft because it is a two-seat version, it has the same combat capabilities as the single-seat J model and is capable of responding to emergencies.
The kit includes markings for the 23rd Squadron and the 304th Squadron. The two-seat cockpit and other parts have also been reproduced with new molds.
