■Product Description
Following the highly acclaimed 1/48 scale "Zero Fighter" kit, which has been well-received by users both domestically and internationally, we will be releasing a series of Zero Fighter kits in 1/72 scale. This kit reproduces the Mitsubishi-made mid-production Type 52, which features thrust-type single exhaust pipes protruding from the rear of the cowling to the side of the fuselage. The product is molded in different colors on each sprue: the fuselage and wings are green, the cowling and landing gear are black, and the engine and propeller are gray. The kit includes water-slide decals for four aircraft: two from the 381st Navy Air Group, which was trained in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture, and fought as an air defense force in the Dutch East Indies (Indonesian archipelago); one from the 204th Air Group deployed to Rabaul; and one from the 253rd Air Group, also based in Rabaul, flown by Tetsuzo Iwamoto, considered one of Japan's top aces.
