■Product Description
The Type 73 light truck, which played a wide role in the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, was used not only as a multi-purpose vehicle but also as a combat vehicle with various equipment. Among these variations, the most noteworthy is this anti-tank version equipped with the Type 60 106mm recoilless rifle. This vehicle was mainly deployed to anti-tank platoons of infantry companies and played an important role as an anti-tank weapon.
This kit reproduces the rear gate, the base of the recoilless rifle, the extension plate above the front windshield, and the left side mirror as dedicated parts. It is packed with attention to detail as a military model. The marking decals are compatible with vehicles belonging to the 33rd Infantry Regiment at Hisai Garrison, the 15th Infantry Regiment at Zentsuji Garrison, the 11th Reconnaissance Unit at Makomanai Garrison, and the Infantry Regiment at Takigahara Garrison. Furthermore, individual number decals for license plates are also included, so it is possible to create vehicles other than those with the included markings.
