■Product Description
This was one of the Japanese Army's combat vehicles during World War II. It was adopted by the military as a vehicle capable of fighting enemy tanks using the "Ta-dan" shaped-charge projectile for anti-tank purposes. Its structure is based on the chassis of the Type 1/Type 3 medium tank, and it is equipped with the Type 99 7.5cm tank gun, which was a modified Type 41 mountain gun. Mass production began in 1944, and about 30 units were produced and deployed to units within mainland Japan.
