■Product Description
The Type 3 Self-Propelled Gun [Ho-Ni III] was planned in 1943 by the Army Ordnance Administration Headquarters as a 7.5 cm (75 mm) gun tank (Type A). Based on the Type 1 7.5 cm Self-Propelled Gun [Ho-Ni I] which had already been deployed in combat, it was developed to have anti-tank combat capabilities that could counter powerful enemy tanks, in addition to the conventional role of a self-propelled gun tank whose main mission was to suppress enemy positions. Using the chassis of the Type 97 medium tank, it had a fixed but enclosed fighting compartment that provided full protection with sufficient armor. The main gun was the Type 3 7.5 cm tank gun based on the Type 90 field gun, and it was expected to be a tank that could destroy a US M4 tank from the front at a distance of 600m. ●This kit is a renewed product based on a limited edition with added interior parts and a revised package size.
