About the B-339 Buffalo Japanese Army
In the early stages of the war, the Japanese military captured a variety of Allied aircraft in the South Pacific and brought them back to Japan.
One of them, the 'Buffalo' fighter plane, was captured by the Japanese Army and investigated in Bandung, Java.
Later it was transported to mainland Japan and distributed to various Army Air Schools.
This product reproduces the captured Buffalo using a Tamiya kit. The markings reproduce two types of aircraft with Southern Army captured aircraft insignia and the Akeno/Utsunomiya Army Air Schools with new decals. In addition, it includes two Japanese Army maintenance crew figures, drums, a step ladder, and other parts ideal for diorama creations, as well as precision plastic seat belts from the Nano Aviation series.
