About the actual Hayabusa Type II aircraft
The Type 1 Fighter Hayabusa fought as the main fighter aircraft of the Army, using its nimble maneuverability and high practicality as its weapons.
The Type II was a type that aimed to improve speed performance by strengthening the engine output and shortening the wingspan, and was equipped with two Ho-103 12.7mm cannons in the nose and a 1130 horsepower Ha-115 engine, achieving a maximum speed of 515 km/h.
It played an active role in all theaters of war as the main fighter from the middle of the war onward.
Furthermore, the later model was equipped with a thrust-type exhaust manifold to increase speed, and efforts to improve performance continued, and it fought until the end of the war.
