The M1918 155mm howitzer is an artillery piece that the US military officially adopted and licensed-produced as the M1918 155mm howitzer, based on the M1917C howitzer with a caliber of 155mm designed by Schneider of France.
The M1918 howitzer was in service until 1942 when it was replaced by the domestically produced M114 155mm howitzer.
